About

Juanita Devis is a CityScience Advisor for the Changing Places Group, at MIT Media Lab.

Her research combined architecture and urban design, technology and computer science, to investigate new strategies for future places of living and work. She is currently involved in the Andorra Living Lab project, which combines different research topics (Tourism, Innovation, Energy & Environment, Mobility, Dynamic urban planning) for the future urban challenges of the country. She is contributing in a unique initiative to provide research, knowledge, methods and tools to carry out such transformation.

In 2014, she received the Master in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Passionate about architecture and design, her interests span from incremental self-construction in developing countries to international competitions. She is always open to new stimulating working experiences and able to adapt to new and interdisciplinary contexts.

While not working, you can find her travelling, sketching and hand drawing, or scuba diving.
